Young National Assembly deputies visit Australia |

Sidney (VNA) –Six members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCMCYU CC), including three National Assembly deputies, have arrived in
Australia for a working visit.
The delegation, headed by HCMCYU CC first Secretary Vo Van Thuong, will meet with politicians and young members of parliament in
New South Wales and
Victoria
States .
During the visit, made at the invitation of the Australian Political Exchange Council (APEC), the delegation will to pay courtesy visits to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Senate, and attend an interpellation session of the Parliament.
Besides, it will meet with the Vietnamese community in
Australia and present certificates of merit of the Vietnam Youth Union to a number of orgnaisations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the youth movements.
APEC, an Australian governmental agency, was set up in 1981 with the aim to create opportunities for young politicians of
Australia and foreign countries to study the political systems in each other countries.-Enditem
