The quality of infrastructure in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai has vastly improved. Cranes dominate the skylines of Vietnam’s major cities, and roads and ports are being upgraded or newly built all across the country. Telecom infrastructure is improving and prices are coming down. Also secondary aspects of infrastructure that are of concern to expatriates, such as good restaurants, well stocked supermarkets, and international schools are generally available in the larger cities.
