Hai Phong (VNA) – A seminar on opportunities to export to Japan was held in Hai Phong on June 11. 

The seminar, organised by the Vietnam Commercial and Industrial Office in Hai Phong and the Trade Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, attracted more than 60 businesses seeking opportunities to enter this potential market.

According to Japanese experts, some textile and handicraft products of Vietnam have taken a foothold in the Japanese market, such as clothes, and wood and bamboo souvenirs.

They said these products have attracted Japanese customers because they are useful, good quality, well designed and made from natural materials.
Japanese experts also said export of textiles and handicrafts to Japan will increase if Vietnam improves the design and quality of its products.-Enditem
